Seedlings Join Mother Earth

I had a bunch of girl friends visit the other weekend and kicked the seedlings out! Seriously, I know I spent weeks nurturing the seeds and plants, but then I needed more space and it was time for them to adapt to the elements. So Friday night I put them in the garden in the cups and left them there until Sunday when I planted them. It's been in the 80-90's this week and they have become so fried and wilted. I hope they survive!

Nice sun down photo... not quite a sunset yet!
I planted carrots, marigolds (petite and regular), cauliflower, broccoli, and cucumber.
I used fancy logs/sticks from the Box Elder trimmings to support the bamboo lattice for the cucs.

My roses are blooming and GORGEOUS!!! I can't wait for the Iris, Freesia, Peony, and Dahlia bulbs to emerge. I always get nervous... are they going to come up? When?!

And more front of the house pictures:

Quite a few of these are very artistic. I just love how much the front has transformed with the tulips, snapdragons, and even the weeds!

This front walkway screams SPRING :)

Such a fascinating purple tulip.

I love the contrast of black and white in this photo. I know it isn't great for a garden blog, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE it from an artistic standpoint.
Captivating colors and depth with this shot.

This looks like a crisp sunset to me. I <3 it!
TULIPS = Spring/Easter
I also love snapdragons. Ok... maybe I'm just obsessed with flowers - GUILTY!
Magenta... so pretty!
